 TO + INFINITIVO = PURPOSE OF AN ACTION

As we saw, to + infinitive is used to talk about the purpose of an earlier action.




He got up early to see the sunrise. 
I called to invite him to the party. 
She bought some ham to make sandwiches. 
We went to the cinema to see the new Batman movie.
to + sitio = destination of a trip / displacement
And with some movement verbs, it is used to indicate the destination.



She went to Cuba on her last holiday. 

They walked all the way to the top of the mountain. 

He took the cake to his friend. 

I drove to Salamanca last weekend.
